LaziSkin works on most hair types. IPL relies on melanin which is found within the hair pigment, absorbing the light energy. Although noticeable, it is not as effective on very light blonde hair or grey coloured hair.
IPL is now the most effective and common method for removing hairs. All of our products have been clinically tested to meet all regulation safety standards. Because of this, IPL has become an extremely popular, safe and effective method of hair removal at home and in clinics.
No, it isn't necessary to wear any eye protection while using the LaziSkin IPL. Thanks to a sensor on the handset, unless the entire window is pressed against your skin, the handset will not pulse. But as with any light, it's not recommended to look directly into the source.
You can use your handset on your entire body, including sensitive areas. This includes your Brazilian/ bikini area, face, arms, hands, legs, back and neck, feet... but do not point directly into your eyes.
It is only recommended to shave if you need to. You should never wax, epilate or pluck hairs as these hair removal methods removes the root, which is what absorbs the light from the LaziSkin IPL during the treatment.
It's recommended to wait 48 hours after using the IPL before tanning. If you have recently been sunbathing, it's recommend to wait 2 weeks before using your IPL handset on your skin. In addition, artificial tan (fake tan) should not be on your skin.
